Cherry Natural Edge Bowl with Bark Rim

Approximate size 8.5 inches dia. x 6 inches tall with a wall thickness of 3/32 inches.  This is not your standard salad bowl with the uniqueness of the fresh growth sapwood (the lighter colors on the edge) and natural bark edge make this display bowl a great piece for the right home. The heartwood (the darker colors) will get richer and deeper in color with age.

Finished with sprayed lacquer a bowl of this type is not for everyone, handle it with care and it will last forever.
 
Created from recycled raw material and given to me earlier this year, it was a joy to save from a firewood box.
