Native American   Healing

Please know that this section is still very much a work in progress.
Right now, I have five areas you can explore:

• An on-line bookstore on Native Americans.

• An alphabetical index of all of the federally-recognized Native American tribes and suggestions on how you can contribute links and articles or stories to this page.

• The official pages on my friend, Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, a Native American healer and author of the wonderful book, Coyote Medicine. He is currently the Coordinator for Integrative Psychiatry and System Medicine for the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson.

• A section of special sites on Native American Indians and Healing. These selections are either very unique or very comprehensive and are reviewed herein.

• Spider's website. Spider is a ceremonial leader and practitioner of healing ceremonies following the Taino traditions of the Caney Indian Spiritual Circle. She is also a teacher with the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge, originally based on the Seneca Cattaraugus Reservation in New York, where she has worked closely with Grandmother Twylah Nitsch for about ten years.
  
  Spider is the author of numerous publications, including the book, Songs of Bleeding, which explores Women's Mysteries in the remembrance of Moon Lodge celebrations of the Native Taino Indian teachings.
