Book: Songs of Bleeding

Spider weaves the tales of Women's Mysteries in the remembrance of Moon Lodge celebrations based on Taino teachings. Through this book, she shares the dreams of the Grandmothers with all people ready to honor the Earth and Her cycles.
Grandmother Twylah Nitsch
"It was a pleasure to read Spider's book! As Sound and Rhythm hold the Uniworld together, so do the Songs of Bleeding hold within them the heriitage of Women's Mysteries. On of the most important contributions that Songs of Bleeding teaches us is the aspect of Honor... Honoring our Grandmothers' wisdom, our Moon time and our history as Women. Nyah Weh Scanno!" -

Taino Books: Grandmother Spider and the web of Life

So it is that the words "web of life" have suggested themselves throughout time as expressive of the unity of nature, inclusive of even we two-leggeds. "We" is another word that expesses that unity, and you will find it used often on Spider's Grandmother Spider and the Web of Life. The images, stories and exercises in this book create a blending of ideas and activities inspired by the Wisdom Wheel of Grandmother Twylah Nitsch, the Taino creation stories and Spider's own teachings to guide the reader in connecting with life.
Grandmother Twylah Nitsch
After introducing the Medicine Wheel and the Sacred Cave, Spider begins the exercises with and activity called Speaking with MotherEarth, an invitation to directly connect with the heartbeat of MotherEarth. In many Native stories the heart is the core experience of being where the real "thinking" is done, because the heart, feeling, gives meaning to our experience. Psychology today has developed "eco" or "deep psychology" based on our need to know and experience our part in the song of life. As Spider says in closing;

Share your gifts.
Walk in Peace."

Did you ever wonder how you came to be here? Have you ever wondered why there are so many animals that live on the Earth? The answers to these questions are the Great Mystery of life that brings each of us to live on the Earth and connects us all as relations.
Native Taino Traditions
All of the animals are teachers for us because they listen to MotherEarth and follow her cycles. The Animal Teachers Cards For Kids are a deck of 62 animal cards and accompanying book with the stories and teachings of the animals. Use these cards to let the animal teachers speak to you. The wisdom that All Our Relations share through the cards tells us how to live in peace. Let them remind us to be the best caretakers of MotherEarth that we can be.

Books: All Our Relations

"Our Native American Elders tell us that we came into the world with all of the gifts that we need to live and survive. If these gifts of natural awareness are nurtured, we create personal and planetary harmony by living with respect for All of Our Relations."   - Spider

This self-published workbook is a story and activity book to help develop the skills necessary to be a Caretaker of MotherEarth. The story follows the summer visit of Katie and Joe's Grandmother who shares teachings and stories about MotherEarth and All Our Relations while they enjoy the season's activities from planting to harvest. Each chapter in the story is followed by exercises that include simple ceremonies, games and crafts using natural materials.

Spider has drawn upon ten years of experience teaching children's workshops and developing her own home school curriculum for her daughter. All Our Relations can be used as a teacher's manual to add Native American teachings and a spiritual connection with MotherEarth to existing educational and scouting programs. All Our Relations can also be used for home schooling and personal growth by children and adults.

Books: Grandmothers of the Four Winds

In this short story, the teaching of the Medicine Wheel are shared by four Grandmothers preparing to go to Council. As the Grandmothers speak, they take the reader on a journey exploring the gifts of the four directions. The surprise ending reveals how the author learned the story.

Excerpt from page 3 of Grandmothers of the Four Winds:

"The Two-Leggeds need to remember their connection within the web of life," the South Grandmother says. "It is time for the Two-Leggeds to remember their family, the Earth family, and honor this connection with every Creature Being that walks on the Earth. We are never alone. All we need to do is plant our feet firmly on the Earth to feel the heartbeat of our Mother and then look out from where we stand to see our family in the rocks and trees, Wingeds, crawlers, and the Four-Leggeds and other Two-Leggeds around us. All children are our children, all grandparents are our elders. Remember to honor the connection that you have with all of your relations. Awaken the energy flowing through the web to manifest the Great Mystery's dream of wholeness."

For further teachings and wisdom from the Grandmothers, please see Lessons from the Forest, the wonderful website of Grandmother Anita Atsila Galisgisgia, Bird Clan Mother of the Southern Cherokee Tribe and Associated Bands of Texas. Other stories and teachings from Anita Atsila on this website include "Unoli: Cherokee Winds", which tells of the seven ceremonies of the Cherokee and "Reflections for Stargazers" (Cherokee traditions tell that we came from theåstars and in the end we will return to the stars).

Books: Vortex Energy

This workbook teaches you how to use your personal Vortex energy to adapt to the Earth changes.

We are presently in the Fifth World. Since the Vibral Core alignment on August 17, 1987, the Earth and all her Creature Children have entered the Fifth World of Harmony where the Sacred Circle comes back together. This event is popularly known as the Harmonic Convergence but we call it the Vibral Alignment because, on that day, all Vibral Cores aligned to face the sun. Our Vibral Core is the place where we are all connected to the Web of Life and is the center of our energy awareness. On August 17, 1987, we began a process of remembering, through this Vibral Core Alignment, that we are all connected through energy as one Whole United Being.

Following this Vibral Alignment in October of 1990, a new energy grid moved into place around the planet. For the first time in the evolution of the Earth, energy was flowing both into and out of Earth's Vibral Core at the center of the planet. The results of this energy shift are manifesting as changes in physical reality on a global, ecological, communal and personal basis.
