Native American Indian Healing Ceremonies
Taino Indians
Sacred Tree Dance

During the dance, each person present had internalized the rhythm of harmony and will take it with them as they return to their Earthwalk.

This dance is a give-away and any one of the participants can organize another dance to honor the Sacred Tree so that this give-away ceremony will continue to generate abundance and healing for the entire web of life.

About the image on this page: This photograph, Red Maple Haiku, was taken during the solar eclipse in May of 1995. It was creating by placing a piece of rice-paper on the ground and letting the shadow of a Japanese Red Maple tree fall upon it. The interstices of the spaces between the maple leaves acted as hundreds of tiny lenses and focused the image of the moon almost totally occulting the sun in many tiny crescents between the shadows.   © 1995-2008   Peter Shefler
